Day 3 Finale: Grumpie Horde - Altered Dominoes

Happy Friday the 13th and welcome back for the 3rd and final day of Smeared Ink's
 BLOODY VALENTINE BLOG HOP 2015!

Thank you so much for hopping with me over the last 3 days and leaving me your wonderful compliments!  I've had an absolute blast and enjoyed all your dark and twisty Valentines too!  If you've already been hopping with us then you arrived here from Teresa's blog but if you'd like to start from the beginning then pop on over to Black Dragon's blog!  The blog hop roll is below my project and over there in my right sidebar!

UHO!  Watch out, there's a love sick Grumpie Horde creeping up on us in the dark!!!
Eeeek RUN!

Wanna Balloon?
Oh No!  One love sick grumpie has broken away from the horde and has headed over to the Smudgy Antics challenge blog where it's my turn to give you your daily dose of Smeared Ink DT inspiration!
Hopefully you'll get a better look at him when you pop on over there ;0)

UHO!  It's chaos, yet another one has dashed off to my DominoART blog!  Looks like he's trying to entice you into joining my current DominoART challenge, the theme is HEARTS + Any Game Goes!  Pop on over and see if you can catch a glimpse of Love Hurts grumpie too ;0)

Love Hurts Grumpie hiding out at DominoART!
Thankfully two grumpies have stayed behind!  Here's a better look at these two cuties!
I used super-sized white dominoes to create my balloon toting horde which feature Smeared Ink's Love Lil Grumpies rubber stamp set.  The balloons I drew myself and the text on each one is also from the Love set!

Stalker and
I used Jet Black StazOn Ink to stamp the images onto the dominoes and heat set before colouring the images with various Sharpie markers using my signature Sharpie Domino Queen technique.  I edged and coloured the sides of each domino with a black Sharpie marker.  The balloons were drawn on Neenah Solar White cardstock and the text was stamped on each balloon with Tuxedo Black Memento ink before I coloured them with Copic markers.  The balloon string is black craft wire adhered to the backs of each domino and balloon and randomly bent and twirled for a fun and quirky look.  I took photos of the altered dominoes first before applying Judikins Diamond Glaze to protect the stamped surface because it's tricky to get a good photo without the glare on the glaze.

Off you go on the rest of the hop and don't forget to stop by both Smudgy Antics and DominoART to see more scary cute Love Grumpies!

Have a freaky fabulous weekend and see you again for Bloody Valentine 1016!
