Howzit Everyone!
It's time for our new challenge over at Forever Dark...sadly March is the last one due to entry participation not being what we had hoped for :0(
Thank you to all the wonderful sponsors and to all the fans that did support us, we enjoyed creating with your digi stamps and appreciated all the fabulous dark art you shared with us!

I now have 3 new Facebook Groups that you might like to come and join and I may start up a dark art challenge blog in the future, I'll see how things go!

Now for my inspiration project for Forever Dark!  March is Anything Goes and the side theme was to be Sinister Easter but coz it's our last challenge the theme was dropped.

Lilleth and the Lillies

I had an absolute blast creating this piece and I'm very pleased with how she turned out.  I made a paper art project that is approximately 8 x 10 inches in size.  Her hair consists of a 3 layer cascade of fussy cut curls and the flowers consist of 1-3 layers of fussy cut and curled dimensional layers too.  The full image is matted onto colour coordinating cardstock and then onto black, the mats were cut with my Perfect Paper Layers tools

I printed Lilleth and Lillies out onto Neenah solar white cardstock and coloured her with Copic markers and highlights added with a white gel pen once the entire piece was completed.  I scanned the coloured image into Photoshop CS6 and printed her out 3 times.  I selected all the elements I wanted to layer and fussy cut out all the pieces which were then curled and adhered in place with a combination of Scotch Quick Dry adhesive and black pop dots.

In the photo above you can see all the glorious curls!

The collage photo above shows all the other layered areas - the 3 large Stargazer lillies, the bottom left Calla lilly and the floral-pearl  hair decoration piece.

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Stamping!

  4. This is amazing, and right up my creative alley. My printer doesn't produce such vibrant copies, especially on Neenah. What printer are you using? I'm ready for a new one, but haven't settled on which one yet.
